Buckley Police: Domestic Violence Assault Arrest, Man Injured in Attempted Theft and Drivers Cited for Racing

June 20, 2013
Hit and Run: A Bonney Lake man was arrested, cited and later released after police responded to the 29200 block of State Route 410 at 7:15 p.m. for a report of a hit and run. The man was located after police spoke with the victim and witness about the collision. He admitted hitting the other vehicle with his motor home. He was cited for hit and run of an unattended vehicle, first-degree driving while license suspended and for not having an ignition interlock device.
Shoplifting: A Bonney Lake resident was cited through the mail for obstructing a public servant and third-degree theft after fleeing the scene of a reported shoplifting at a business on the 29200 block of State Route 410 at 11:49 p.m. The resident was with a second shoplifting suspect, who was found to have an outstanding warrant and was detained by police.

Reckless Driving: Police cited and released two drivers who were seen racing on the 500 block of Ryan Road at 7:06 p.m.
Attempted Theft: A 20-year-old man sustained minor injuries after he attempted to flee a business on the 29300 block of State Route 410 at 8:45 p.m. with an opened container of alcohol. He was successfully detained.
