Buckley Police: Gas Can and Trailer Reported Stolen, Unknown Driver Mows Down Stop Sign
The following information from Sept. 11 to Sept. 15 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Sept. 11, 2013
DUI: Officers arrested a 29-year-old woman from Tacoma for DUI and eluding a police vehicle after she initially tried to flee police who attempted a traffic stop due to her erratic driving. She was detained on the 300 block of N Fulton Street at 11 p.m. and also had a felony arrest warrant from the Department of Corrections and a DUI warrant out of Kitsap County.
Sept. 13, 2013
Theft: Officers responded to the 200 block of E Mason Avenue at 6:20 p.m. for a report a gas can was stolen from a parked vehicle in the area. The can was new and worth about $50 and contained about five gallons of regular gas.
Shoplifting: A female was cited for third-degree theft and trespassed from a business on the 29300 block of State Route 410 after police responded to the location at 7 p.m. for a report she'd shoplifted candy.
Mail Tampering: A citizen reported he suspected someone had tampered with his mail on the 300 block of S River Avenue. Police could not verify if any mail had been stolen.

Vehicle Theft: A citizen on the 300 block of S Cottage Street reported at 1:30 p.m. that a trailer had been stolen from the property.
Sept. 15, 2013
Hit and Run: A citizen on the 800 block of Garnero Street reported at 11 p.m. that someone had driving onto his front yard, causing damage and knocked over a stop sign before driving away. A suspect vehicle was not located.
