Buckley Police: Two Cited for Unsecured Loads of Hay, Assault at Rainier School and Auto Cashier Stolen from Business

The following information from May 24 to June 3 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

May 24, 2013

Burglary: Police responded to a home on the 28000 block of Hinkleman Road at 7:12 p.m. for an initial report of a vehicle prowl but the responding officer found the vacant residence at the location was also entered though no items appeared to have been taken. The property owner had passed away earlier this year.

May 29, 2013

Unsecured Loads: Two men from Enumclaw were cited for failing to secure a load on their respective vehicles after one of the men lost a load of hay on Ryan Road at State Route 165 at 2:24 p.m. When the other man approached to help clean up, officers found his load of hay was also not properly secured.

May 30, 2013

No Littering: Police responded to the 200 block of Rainier Street on a report someone was throwing garbage in the alley. The officer noted bread and celery on the ground and warned the responsible subject to stop.

June 2, 2013

Assault: Police responded to the Rainier School at 2:30 p.m. for a report of a client on client assault. No injuries were reported.

Theft: An employee at a business on the 28000 block of State Route 410 reported at 8 p.m. that when he arrived at work, the auto cashier had been stolen.

June 3, 2013

Dog Complaint: Police responded to the 500 block of S. Division Street on a report a citizen was being chased by a dog in the area that was barking and growling. The owners were told to keep the dog contained.
