Dog Found Drowned in Lake Tapps, Tangled by Rope
A dog was found drowned in Lake Tapps Sunday after apparently becoming twisted in rope and buoy lines.
A local dog was found drowned in Lake Tapps Sunday morning after becoming tangled in a rope and buoy overnight, according to Bonney Lake Police.
East Pierce Fire & Rescue assisted police in unhooking the buoy lines to bring the dog to shore.
After an investigation, no signs of animal cruelty were found and the owner of the dog was found and notified.
