East Pierce Fire and Rescue Extinguish Brush Fire Near Falling Water Development

Firefighters battled a blaze near the Falling Water housing development early Wednesday morning. No homes or residents were harmed.

Firefighters from East Pierce Fire and Rescue battled a brush fire this morning near the Falling Water housing development, according to officials.

The call came in about 8:30 a.m. on Weds., Oct. 10. Four engines and 10 firefighters spent two hours containing the fire, which was approximately 20 ft. by 30 ft. in diameter.

No houses or residents were harmed; investigators believe the brush fire was caused by an unknown person, but there were no signs of ignition.
