East Pierce Fire and Rescue report at about 8 p.m. on Facebook that eastbound State Route 410 is closed at the bottom of Ehli Hill at 166th Ave East.
The WSDOT confirms this is a brush fire at milepost 12 that began at about 7 p.m. Road impacts are expected to last until about 8:45 p.m.
Drivers should use an alternate route to access Bonney Lake from Sumner.
