Firefighters Extinguish Blaze in Prairie Ridge Mobile Home

A mobile home on 223th Ave. E. caught on fire Sunday afternoon. The residents were able to escape and firefighters extinguished the blaze before too much damage was done.

Firefighters extinguished a mobile home fire in Prairie Ridge on Sunday afternoon, according to East Pierce Fire & Rescue. The home is located on the 12500 block of 223th Ave. E. and the call came in at 2:48 p.m.

Damage to the home was limited to the bedroom, where investigators believe the fire originated. The residents were able to escape and there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.
