UPDATE: Rescue crews recovered the man's body around 11:50 p.m. on July 21, confirms Pierce County Sheriff spokesman Ed Troyer. He was found with sonar technology, verified with a robot and recovered by divers.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that the man was 20 year-old Marcus "Fly" Henderson and he was from Lakeville, MN.

Rescue crews are on Lake Tapps tonight searching for the body of a missing 20-year-old man who drowned while in the water with his girlfriend. He was swimming within the designated area at Lake Tapps County Park when he went under, according to witnesses.
KIRO 7 reports that the couple was swimming when the man started to drown. His girlfriend attemped to help him when she started to struggle. A fellow swimmer was able to rescue the woman but unable to help the man.
