Man Drives Car Through Sumner Recycling Facility Fence During Police Pursuit
A man drove his truck through a city fence while eluding police on a chase down SR 410 through Sumner last week.
A man carrying a loaded gun and marijuana led police on a chase down SR 410 and through Sumner that ended when he ran through a fence at the Sumner Recycling Center last Thursday morning. He was booked for felony malicious mischief and is being investigated for possible identity theft. He was also charged with burglary and marijuana possession.
When he was taken into custody, he told Sumner Police he was extremely high on “P2P” and had been wandering around town for three days. His only motive for eluding seems to be that police were chasing him.
