The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of 18-year-old Christopher Virdell. He was last seen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, as he left a friend’s residence on 223rd St. E. in Spanaway to catch a bus to work.
Christopher Virdell was reported missing later that night after he failed to show up to work or home. Virdell is described by co-workers as a “perfect” employee who never misses work. Detectives have contacted numerous friends and co-workers, and none have reported seeing or hearing from Virdell since the day he disappeared.
Christopher Dillon Virdell is a white male, 18 years old, 5’6” tall, 120 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a bright orange hunting jacket, a black Safeway T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers with glow-in-the-dark shoelaces.
Detectives are looking for any information regarding Christopher Virdell’s disappearance and/or his whereabouts.
