Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing into Guardrail on SR 167

The 43-year-old man from Kent lost control and struck a guardrail in Sumner on Saturday.

A 43-year-old Kent man died after he lost control and struck a guardrail on SR 167 in Sumner, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident happened around 12:43 a.m. on Saturday.

The motorcyclist was riding his 2008 Kawasaki ZG1400 on northbound SR 167 near SR 410.

Authorities have not released the man’s name, but he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
