UPDATE: Sumner Woman Dies in Crash Near Buckley

A Bonney Lake man was injured in the two-vehicle crash Saturday.

UPDATE, 8:30 p.m. -- A 56-year-old Sumner woman died in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 410 Saturday, the Washington State Patrol said.

Pamela C. Bone was driving a 1991 Nissan Sentra westbound on SR 410 near milepost 17 when her car crossed the centerline. It hit an eastbound  2000 Ford F250 driven by Gregory W. Willging, 62, of Bonney Lake, the Patrol said.

Bone died at the scene. Willging was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

One person is dead after a full-sized pickup and sedan collided on SR 410 and 234th Ave. E. near milepost 16, according to East Pierce Fire and Rescue and WSDOT.

On their Facebook page, EPFR workers are reporting that one person has passed away and another was critically injured and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. The accident occured just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The roadway is completely blocked on SR 410 between 254th Ave. E. to 234th Ave. E. Local drivers should expect delays. There is a detour in place.
