One Person Treated for Smoke Inhalation in House Fire Monday Night

East Pierce Fire and Rescue reports the house was a total loss but firefighters were able to contain the fire to just the one house.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation but otherwise was uninjured following a house fire in Bonney Lake Monday night.

East Pierce firefighters responded to the 20500 block of 108th Street Court East at around 8 p.m. to a report that the 'whole house' was on fire, according to the department's Facebook page.

Only one occupant was home at the time and had escaped the fire safely, aside from the smoke inhalation.
