To help bring Christmas to Bonney Lake, the police department hosted at Target on Friday, Dec. 9.
21 students identified through district referrals got to participate in , an annual partnership between the Bonney Lake Police Department and Target. Through raised funds and donations, the students got store credit to pick out their own gifts. This year's program was spearheaded by Officer Todd Green.
One kid decided to use his store credit to buy some special jewelry for his mom; most others bought toys. One little girl bought a body pillow taller than her!
While it's too late to donate to this program, you can still drop off food donations at the to continue to help local families have a better holiday season.
