Puyallup Police Seek Man Wanted for Sexual Assault of a Minor

Puyallup Police are asking for public help to find sexual assault suspect Manuel Salvador Cortes.

The Puyallup Police Department needs your help to locate sexual assault suspect Manuel Salvador Cortes. A felony warrant has been issued for Cortes’ arrest for two counts of rape in the 2nd degree.

On April 21, Cortes allegedly sexually assaulted an acquaintance’s teenage daughter inside the victim’s Puyallup apartment. After the victim reported the assault to the police, Cortes moved out of his residence and stopped going to work. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Manuel Salvador Cortes is a Hispanic male, 37 years old, 6 feet 1, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is also known to use the name Gabriel Garcia Torres. Investigators believe he may attempt to flee the state of Washington.
