Semi-Truck Collision Backs Up Traffic on State Route 167

Diesel spilled when truck rolled over.

A diesel spill on southbound State Route 167 at milepost 6, the on-ramp to wesbound SR 512, backed traffic up for hours earlier today after a semi-truck rolled over.

The spill, which took place around 6 a.m., brought State Patrol and Department of Ecology crews to the scene. The quantity of diesel was unknown, but was not on the roadway and therefore not impacting traffic.

Southbound traffic on SR 167 was backed up about five miles to Jovita Boulevard, and SR 410 westbound traffic was backed up at least two miles to where it meets SR 162.
