Six Drunk Drivers Arrested St. Patrick’s Evening in Sumner

Sumner PD arrested six drunk drivers on St. Patrick's Day evening and early Sunday morning.

Throughout the evening of St. Patrick's Day, six drunk drivers were arrested, according to Sumner Police.

Typically, one or two drunk drivers are arrested a week in Sumner.

Most of the people arrested this weekend claimed to have been drinking at a friend’s house or out of town, but almost all drivers were double the legal limit. One driver even ran his car up a resident’s lawn and hit the home. No one was injured and the damage minimal.
