Six-Week DUI Emphasis Patrol Begins in Pierce County

"Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" DUI emphasis began last week with extra patrols scheduled for Black Friday in Pierce County.

Around here, you better drive sober or get pulled over.

That's the motto of the current six-week DUI emphasis control, multi-agency project that kicked off last Wednesday in East Pierce County.

The program puts additional law enforcement out on the road to make DUI arrests. Participating officers plan to focus on East Pierce County in a patrol event on Black Friday.
