Missing Person Recovered: Police received a report at about 2 p.m. from Stafford Suites that a resident had not returned from lunch after an outing that began at 10 a.m., which was unusual for her. Officials were worried because she suffered from brain damage which sometimes affects her decision making. She returned to the residence at about 3:40 p.m. indicating that a friend had picked her up and taken her to Tacoma.
Bad Language: Officers responded to the Washington Square residences at Washington Street and Graham Avenue at 3:22 p.m. for a report of unruly juveniles from the skate park nearby trespassing onto residents’ properties and being a nuisance. A property manager admitted to police she’d engaged some of the youths in bad language, and one youth in particular began to argue back that she didn’t appreciate using foul language around her 2 year old son. The youth was issued a trespass warning; the case was referred to Remann Hall for review of charging harassment.
Disorderly Person: Police responded to the 15900 block of 55th Street East at 11:20 p.m. for a report that a neighbor was acting up and had threatened to burn down the caller’s home. The neighbor had been drinking but denied doing such things, further accusing the caller’s husband of punching him in the nose. Officers found no sign he’d been hit in the hose. The case was pending.

Threats and Obstruction: Police were forwarding charges for obstruction and harassment to Remann Hall for two juveniles who had reportedly driven a vehicle without permission to a residence on the 1100 block of Ryan Avenue at about 2 a.m. to collect what they said was a debt and threaten the resident there. The debt was over an iPod that the resident had sold to a friend of theirs but had been confiscated by police, so they were seeking repayment. The juveniles initially lied to the responding officer until they were handcuffed. The resident reported they were revving the engine in front of the home, left the area and later returned.
