Sumner Wraps Up Toy Drive

The Sumner Police Department meeting room is bursting with toys waiting to be distributed to local children.

Christmas weekend is approaching and the Sumner Police Station is bursting with toys.

In all, about 750 individuals, or 300 families, will be served with the program this year.

Sumner police officers have dutifully picked up the toys from bins around town and even test drove some of the goods before they will be distributed among local families.
