VIEWFINDER: East Pierce Fire and Rescue Annual Open House
Helicopter, jaws of life and all, East Pierce Fire and Rescue showed off their stuff at the annual open house.
East Pierce Fire and Rescue could really show off their cool toys at the . Kids "ooohed" and "aaahed" over everything, from the helicopter that made a special landing to the various paramedic trucks and boats. Wearing firefighter jackets and red fire hats, the kids could explore it all.
Kids could pull a firehose with a firefighter and rescue victims. They learned how to stop, drop and roll in a smoke-filled room and how to prevent fires in their homes. Not to mention the Jaws of Life and canine search unit demonstrations.
