The has passed voter approval with a 63.58 percent majority.
The fire levy needed 5,523 votes total for it to pass -- and so far 6,679 people have voted yes as of Weds., Aug. 8.
EPFR Chief Jerry Thorson is grateful for the vote.
"We appreciate the voters support and recognize that this is a tough time to support an issue like this," said Thorson. "I just want to thank the public for trusting us and assure them we will do everything we can to spend the money wisely."
