The Eastown Gateway Sign was originally intended to be installed at the Western City gateway behind the β€œBird and the Boy” statue at Ascent Park. However, the City later opted for a better sign at the main gateway and reserved this sign for the Eastern gateway once the SR410 Eastown widening project was completed. Public Works and Facilities staff members combined efforts to complete the project.
