The public is invited to attend one of three meetings to learn more about the upcoming East Pierce Fire and Rescue Maintenance and Operation Levy Special Election, scheduled for August 7. Fire district personnel will present information regarding funding issues, actions the fire district has taken to address budget concerns and the impact falling property assessments are having on service levels.
