Make & Take / Grab & Go "Vote for Nancy" signs

It's that time of year when election signs start to pop up. In an effort to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, from 11-3 (9-25-11) I am hosting a painting party of sorts.

We will be painting yard signs for my campaign for Sumner City Council, Position 4.  You can paint your own sign if you want or swing by and grab one already made towards the 3:00 hour.

Why am I making my own instead of buying them already done?  My signs are made from resources I already have available so repurposing product makes sense. Once the election is over, residents can dismantle the signs, and if nothing else, get a sturdy garden stake out the deal, 4 screws for a project, and if the weather isn't too rainy, 2 2'x13"x1/4" shelves.  My signs' original job was as a store shelf.  Now, it will be an election sign for me.  And, when it's life is seemingly over in November and lots of H wire and plastic signs will be landfill bound, my sign gets to be a garden stake or drop it back off at my house and I will recycle it for you.

If you would like a sign for your yard (classic colors not primary), you can swing by, say HI and grab one.  If you would like one and can't make it, e-mail ndumas16@gmail.com or call me 253-293-8643 and I will bring one to you.

Thanks :)
