Join Sumner and Thank Former Councilman Leroy Goff for Over 25 Years of Civic Service

Leroy Goff's Legacy Celebration is Sumner's way of thanking the former councilmember for a long history of community service.

β€œMr. Sumner” is having a party and everyone's invited.

Join the city and thank Leroy Goff for his civic service in the community at a Legacy Celebration, tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in council chambers. There will be a reception at immediately following, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The city has put together a slideshow of Goff through the years and plans to share anecdotes about his time on the city council.

Goff retired from city council this month after he decided not to run in the previous election. We interviewed him last month and chatted about his family, passion for civic service and where he used to sneak off to when he was the Mayor of Sumner.
