One Month Left to Enter Bonney Lake Kids Calendar Art Contest

The city of Bonney Lake will choose 12 pieces to develop into a calendar that promotes pollution prevention and water conservation. Students at all Bonney Lake schools qualify. The deadline to enter is April 12.

There is just about one month left to encourage the young artists in your home to get thinking about the environment and put their talents to crayons/paint/colored pencils/markers and paper so they can enter the city of Bonney Lake's calendar contest.

The idea behind the calendar, which will feature 12 finalists, is to promote pollution prevention and water conservation. Artists choose one of six themes:

  1. Pollution/Illegal Dumping Reporting
  2. Friendly Vehicle Washing
  3. Water Conservation
  4. Pet Waste Disposal
  5. Used Oil Recycling
  6. Household Hazardous Waste Disposal

as a basis from which to create an original piece of artwork.
