Bonney Lake's annual chip seal project begins Monday, Aug. 6 and is expected to be completed the next day. According to the city, workers will start on Inlet Island and move across the city, ending in the Cedarview development.
Check out the map on this article to see exactly where the chip sealing will occur. There are local signs posted on affected roads now warning residents of the work.
Local drivers are asked to slow down and use caution on the roadways until the gravel has a chance to be swept up or moved to the side of the road through extended use. Otherwise, the chances chipping your vehicle windshields and exterior paint will increase.
Bicyclists and motorcyclists should use caution when turning, too.
