Sumner Approves New Parking Mandates

There are new parking rules in the city of Sumner; Police Chief John Galle said the changes are in line with state traffic ordinances.

A few changes in the Sumner city code book could affect the daily habits of local drivers.

The new municipal code language, approved by city council on Dec. 5 and in effect as of Dec. 10, brings Sumner in line with state traffic laws and ordinances, said Sumner Police Chief John Galle. If a driver does not follow these laws, he or she could be ticketed.
