Bonney Lake-Sumner Drill Team Qualifies for State Competition
The ladies of the Bonney Lake-Sumner Drill team placed second in military dance and fourth in Pom at Saturday's Kentwood Invitational.
On Saturday, March 5, the placed second in the military category and fourth in Pom at the West Central District III WIAA Dance/Drill Competition at Kentwood High School.
The drill team received a trophy for their second place finish, with an overall state-qualifying score of 233. Their Pom routine earned them a qualifying state score of 225.
Four girls placed in the top 32 for Military Drill downs, and will move on to state level for individual competition.

The team will compete in state competition at the WIAA State Dance/Drill 4A Competition on March 26, in Yakima at the Sun Dome.
