Community Gathers at Allan Yorke Park to Celebrate Life of Quentin Boggan

Bonney Lake's Allan Yorke Park was filled with candles, prayers and memories as the community remembered 16-year-old Bonney Lake High School sophomore Quentin Boggan.

On Sunday, June 24, the community gathered at Bonney Lake's Allan Yorke Park to remember one of their own.

The life of 16-year-old Quentin Boggan was honored at his final resting place -- the park near the dock where he fell into the waters of Lake Tapps and drowned on Thursday, June 21.

About 400 people gathered in the shape of a large "Q" Sunday night to celebrate Boggan's memory at a candelight vigil. There was a prayer vigil in his honor earlier in the night at Sumner's Calvary Church.
