Nominate them for the White River Communities Champion Award, sponsored by the Families First Coalition.
When thinking about who you'll nominate, consider this criteria:
- An individual or group who has made a powerful difference in the community without necessarily having the benefit of holding an office, title or position.
- An individual or group who has contributed to the health and well-being of the community’s youth and families.
- The individual or group that goes above and beyond what is expected of them – as a volunteer or in their professional role.
The deadline for nominations has been extended to this Friday, April 20. We've attached the nomination form to this article. Email Monica Gaub at gaublins.msn.com with your nomination, or print out the PDF and mail it to 20720 127th St. E., Bonney Lake, WA 98391. If you choose to email Monica, make sure you include all the information attached to the PDF, or ask for a Word document version of the form that you can fill out.
Those who nominate a winning community member will be notified by a committee member and up to three people could be selected.
