Road Work in Tehaleh Disrupts Traffic Flow to Eismann Elementary
Parents picking up children from Eismann Elementary or waiting for them to get home on the school bus should expect delays of up to 20 minutes this week.
Eismann Elementary principal Susie Black sent out this memo today to families, warning that construction in Tehaleh is causing disruptions in student transportation:
The scheduled paving project in the Tehaleh community may cause traffic delays of up to 20 minutes today and tomorrow.
Please expect afternoon buses to be late this week and plan extra time for your car trips to and from Eismann Elementary.
Thank you for your patience as this work is completed! Paving should be completed today, and lane striping is scheduled for tomorrow. Crews hope to reopen the road to two-lane traffic on Thursday.
If you have concerns about late buses, please call our school office for assistance or the Transportation Department.
We will have a staff member available to answer phone calls until all buses have completed afternoon routes.
