SHS, BLHS Begin High School Proficiency Exams

Every spring, Washington State tests high school students in reading, writing, math and science.

Today kicks off the annual state testing series for public high school students in Washington State.

Every spring, the state tests high school students to measure whether or not they’re meeting educational standards. Students at Bonney Lake and Sumner High Schools will be tested in reading and writing March 15 – 17, and in science on April 12.

This year, they will also take a course exam to measure proficiency in math. End of course exams are available June 2 and 7 and all student scores will be available to families mid-June.
