TWITPICS: Sumner's Community Dinner Filled with Fun, Food and Santa

The community celebrated the holiday season together at a free community dinner hosted by Sumner High School's leadership team and ASB.

Sumner's annual free Community Dinner was a hit, thanks to the Sumner ASB and student leadership teams.

Community members dined on turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies and pie, served by SHS students. The Sumner High School band put on a special holiday performance and there were free photos with Santa! Students also collected donations for the Sumner Food Bank.

Over the past eight years, the community dinner at Sumner High School has grown from serving 89 people to over 750 last year. Over 200 people volunteered to serve at this year's event.
