Bonney Lake and Sumner Gymnasts Participate at State 1A/2A/3A Gymnastic Individual Meet
Bonney Lake's Kelsey Wells-Henderson ties for 26th on Vault in the State Individual Competition on Friday.
Bonney Lake and Sumner High Schools were well represented on Friday at the State Individual 1A/2A/3A Gymnastics competition at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall.
Kelsey Wells-Henderson represented Bonney Lake High School in three events scoring an 8.7 on the vault, 7.2 on the balance beam, and 6.9 on the uneven bars.
Sumner High School was led by all-around performer Aja Ruswick. Ruswick posted a score of 8.775 on floor exercise, 8.025 on vault, 7.75 on the balance beam, and 6.475 on the uneven bars. Sierra Tinsley posted a 33rd place finish on the Balance Beam with a score of 8.5
