Breakdown: Bonney Lake is coming off of back-to-back close losses to Auburn Mountainview and Peninsula. In both games, the Panthers repeated their season long struggles with falling behind early, trailing 28-14 to Auburn Mountainview and 21-0 to Peninsula. Both of those games featured comebacks for Bonney Lake, including taking a late 38-34 lead against Peninsula, but, ultimately, the early deficits were to too big to climb out of. The good news for the Panthers is that they continue to score with almost reckless abandon, averaging close to 38 points per game, Quarterback Chris Brown leads the way, having already passed for over 2,100 yards and 23 touchdowns. Decatur is 4-2 on the season, but is coming off of a big 61-0 loss to lakes last week. The Gators are 1-1 in the SPSL 3A, with their win coming over Enumclaw.

Patch Pick: Bonney Lake 42, Decatur 35.
