Register Now for Tennis Summer Camps

Raise a Racquet Tennis Camp for youth starts in July, and kids to adults get a chance to learn from the South Puget Sound Tennis Academy in August.

Information from Sumner School District, Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department: 

July:  Raise A Racquet Tennis Camp
For Youth Ages 8 - 18

This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of tennis in this very popular camp or get ready to play for your high school or middle school tennis team.
Turn out with Sumner High School Boys Tennis Head Coach, Chris Heacox! Coach Heacox is in his 12th season as Head Coach, has been honored as Coach of the Year, and has won multiple league championships. Coach Heacox has extensive experience working with players of all ages and levels.   

Dates: July 1, 2, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25
Time: Varies depending on age.  See registration form for details. 
Location: Sumner High School Tennis Courts
Fee: $80 for Ages 8 - 11, $95 for Ages 12 - 18

August:  South Puget Sound Tennis Academy

For Adults and Youth Ages 5 - 12
   
Join Sumner High School Boys Tennis Head Coach, Chris Heacox, to learn the basic fundamentals of tennis or just brush up and improve techniques. Lessons are open to players of all levels. Youth participants will have lessons each day. Adults will have lessons Mondaythrough Thursday and Friday you will enjoy a tournament format during class. Participants receive individual instruction and will gain confidence while learning tennis and having lots of fun. 

Dates: August 5 - 9
Time: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.  (Ages 5 - 12);  6:00 - 7:30 p.m.  (Adults)
Location: Sumner High School Tennis Courts
Fee: $50 for Ages 5 - 12, $65 for Adults
