Sumner Downtown Association Needs Volunteers for Summer Events

Looking for a ways to get more involved with the community this summer?

Consider volunteering with the at one of the big events scheduled for this summer.

Laurie Miller, program manager for the Sumner Downtown Association, said that more volunteers are desperately needed for and the this summer.

"We are looking for volunteers to sit guard at the street closer blockades, assist with running the kids' games, scavenger hunts, bake-off and pie-eating contest," said Miller. "We also need some assistance with set up and take down before and after the event."
