Massage Envy in Bonney Lake Helped 60 Veterans Relax

Massage Envy kept busy on Veteran's Day and provided free massages to veterans and their spouses.

Puget Sound area Massage Envy locations from Olympia to Everett, including the saluted our military on Veterans Day withproviding over 500 free, one-hour massage sessions to active-duty personnel, veterans and their spouses.

“We were pleased to say thank you to those who have served us, or are now on active duty. Providing a stress-relieving massage is the best way for us to show our appreciation,” said KeithTalbert, Bonney Lake Massage Envy co-owner.

The Bonney Lake location served 60 vets and active military with free massages. 

Massage Envy owners also donated an additional 250 one-hour massage session gift certificates to USO Puget Sound Area, which will distribute the certificates to deserving local active-service military families from all five service branches during the holiday season.

“We believe caring for our local military service members and their families is a privilege and civic duty we take seriously,” said Don Leingang, USO Puget Sound Area Executive Director and Commander, US Navy (Retired).  “We thank Massage Envy for stepping up to help support our local military community.”

Massage Envy’s health and wellness initiative focuses on the physical and emotional benefits of therapeutic massage.  Studies cite alleviation of stress, improved sleep and an overall sense of physical and emotional well-being among the many positive benefits.
