PHOTO GALLERY: Fleet Feet Christmas Marathon Raises Over 800 Pounds of Donations for Bonney Lake Food Bank

The Tour De Lights brought the Bonney Lake community together for an evening of holiday cheer, fitness and charity among friends.

Wednesday evening, Bonney Lake was aglow with the Tour De Lights, Fleet Feet's annual 2.9 mile holiday walk/run through the Sky Island neighborhood. Through the course of the evening, over 825 pounds of food were donated to the Bonney Lake Food Bank.

It was free to the community, but Fleet Feet asked participants to bring donations to participate, which got them a raffle ticket for prizes donated by Brooks Sports. People of all types -- walkers, runners, babies and kids, joined in the fun and enjoyed Sky Island's holiday lights in the almost-5k event.

Bonney Lake Police volunteered their time -- for free -- to make sure traffic and participants got around safely.
