Saunter Down Main Street at Saturday’s Mystery Wine Walk in Sumner

If you pre-register on Friday afternoon, you could receive discounted tickets!

If music, conversation and (of course) wine suit your fancy, consider spending your Saturday evening in downtown Sumner at the annual .

Not only will you get to taste wines from across the country and beyond, but will be entered to win some prizes from local stores as well. Organizers at the have sweetened the pot with raffle prizes, including gift baskets from Main Street merchants, an SDA Rhubarb Days gift basket and a free pie a month from Will Power Swing Band will entertain the crowd with hits from the 20s, 30s and 40s – find them at the throughout the evening.

SDA executive director Laurie Miller told Patch that registration is still available and, if Patch readers call her office on Friday afternoon between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., she’ll take $5 off the ticket price of $20.

Sumner’s Mystery Wine Walk is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Sumner.

Registration for the Mystery Wine Walk begins at 3 p.m. in the Bank of America drive-thru lane. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the , too.

Tickets can be purchased online through Friday, Sept. 7 and will be available at the registration booth. (If you call the SDA office between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., get $5 off your ticket.)

With your purchase, you’ll receive a souvenir wine glass, 6 taste tickets, a wine walk booklet, walking map of downtown Sumner and a passport, which will be used in the prize drawing.

Purchase more tastes online or at the event or online for $1 each.
