The buckets will be collected after you dump the trash into one of the five collection points around the lake, at any time on Saturday or Sunday. These dumpsters will be monitored and used only for items removed from the lake bed, not storm debris.

Collection points are as follows:

  • Allan Yorke Park
  • East Pierce County station ... Kitty cornered from Al Lago on West Tapps
  • Pierce County park located on the North end of the lake.
  • Tapps Island boat launch
  • Located between Snag and Inlet Islands on 214th on the South end of the large field in the gravel lot on east side of road.

Volunteers will work both Saturday and Sunday from about 9 a.m. till dusk.
