In addition, society members are very active in the community today and participate in local events such as Bonney Lake Days, Tunes at Tapps, Bonney Lake Beautification and City Council Meetings. </p> <p>The Society produces a calendar every year that is sold exclusively from the following local businesses: Bonney Lake Food Mart, CJ's Deli, The Dog House and Amanda's Floral and Gifts. The calendar is filled with photos and anecdotal stories that show the richness and diversity of life in the area.</p> <p>The Society is currently working with the Mayor and City Council to secure a location for a historical museum similar to those in other cities in area. Community members interested in supporting this venture can call their city council member, the mayor's office or the historical society to show their support. </p>
