Bonney Lake Community Garden

The Bonney Lake Community Garden was started in a partnership with the City of Bonney Lake and Bonney Lake CommunityMore Resources, also known as the Bonney Lake Food Bank. A portion of the garden is farmed for the Food Bank, which supervises the garden and plot assignments. City residents can volunteer in the food bank section of the garden, and community gardeners can donate any extra produce they farm to the Food Bank or Bonney Lake Senior Center.</p> <p>There is no charge for a plot in the Community Garden, and the city supplies water irrigation. However, you must supply your own topsoil, additives, seeds and tools. Visit the City of Bonney Lake website for more information and garden plot application forms.</p>

Ken Simmons Park

This small park, located on the north side of Lake Bonney, features a children's playground and a covered picnic area.More It was named after Ken Simmons, the driving force behind the creation of Bonney Lake. He had purchased a large amount of property and developed a lakefront resort destination on Bonney Lake, which helped convince visitors to develop land and populate what is known as Bonney Lake today.

Bonney Lake Justice Center

The Bonney Lake Justice Center officially opened in late April 2011 and houses the executive department, includingMore the mayor and city administrator, and their executive assistant.  While the executive department includes the office of financial services, this division is located in City Hall.</p> <p>The municipal court is located in the Justice Center and provides passport services. All criminal citations, traffic infractions, parking tickets and photo infraction tickets issued in Bonney Lake are handled in this courtroom. The domestic violence kiosk is also located in the Justice Center.  The Community Services Director is also located in the Justice Center.</p> <p>Regular meetings of the Bonney Lake City Council are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the Justice Center, and they meet in the same location the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays for study session at 5:30 pm.</p>
