I'm a second generation Gig Harborite – well, kind of. My mom and her family have been here since 1942. I spent my teenage years here after dad retired from the military. I worked 20 years as a business and financial journalist in New York City, before escaping to another small fishing town on the Pacific Northwest coast of Costa Rica to devote my time to personal writing projects, scuba diving, and crafting print and Web content for a community tourism magazine and small businesses.
I now work as a freelance editor and writer from the Gig Harbor home I grew up in. I am truly excited about getting out into the community as a contributor for Gig Harbor Patch.
