Born and raised in Poulsbo, I moved to the Sumner area in 1981, when I married my husband, Jim. We’ll be celebrating our 30^th anniversary in June, 2011. We have two girls, born in 1995 and 1999.

 I’ve worn many hats in my lifetime, including library assistant, secretarial/bookkeeping, baker/sauté cook, and Sr. Financial Analyst (healthcare). Currently I am a mom, a substitute para-educator for Sumner School District, a cuisine critic for ShowCase Magazine, and a columnist for patch.com. Writing professionally has been a lifelong dream which was realized in 2008. I am fortunate to have these opportunities, as they work well with my children’s school schedule. 

I enjoy traveling, interesting food, socializing, Facebook and reading; my husband and I recently joined a book club at the Bonney Lake library. I’ve been a Girl Scout leader for eight years and have enjoyed volunteering in my girls’ classrooms.
